ok. so i am really behind on blogging. i have so many beautiiful weddings to post, and awesome family sessions as well. but those are going to have to wait till the new year...i wouldn't want to spoil anyone's christmas card surprises!!! and, i like to do a black friday sale, but this year i was out of town and it just didn't happen! so, since i love the holidays, and i love a good sale, here we go! for 2 days only (saturday and sunday) you can get 50% off any session. need stocking stuffers, or last minute gift ideas...order a session as a gift card. so go ahead and order a session, or 5, below!

the details...

1. purchases are non-refundable for any reason.
2. halfsie sessions must take place in the puyallup area.
3. due to edit time, it is probably too late to use these for christmas card pictures...but they would totally work for valentine's!
4. please allow a 2-3 week turnaround time for your session CD.
5. all sessions come with a full copyright release, high resolution CD.
6. i am due to have baby boy #4 in early april, so i won't be able to schedule sessions in late march and all of april.
7. this is probably the ugliest sale design i have ever made...but my desktop computer is dead and it has all my cool designy stuff on it. so sorry about the eye sore. it's not that bad right!!!

01. i am having a baby in april, so i will not be scheduling sessions between march and may.

i mean come on...obviously this couple is awesome. there was star wars involved in their wedding! no, but really though, naomi and martin really are awesome. i loved every detail of their wedding day from the photo booth, the star-ship enterprise tie pin, storm trooper cuff links, paper umbrellas, to the tons of paper cranes that naomi made by hand. all of it was beautiful! thanks so much naomi and martin for inviting me to celebrate your day with you. and check back soon for more fun pictures from this cute couple!

i usually don't shoot in decorsey park because i am scared of all the harsh shadows. but...i tried it out again and LOVED it. the evening light was glowing and really beautiful for this senior session. thanks angela for a great session!

it's true. up at the top of this blog you can see a button to "book your session". so don't hesitate, book your own session today. plus, you can choose to pay for your session when you book, or when your session takes place. it's all very exciting!!!

* for all of you who have purchased sale sessions, especially the black friday sale, you should book your sessions as soon as possible.

most of the time the slot you choose will be just fine. sometimes, however, another session has been booked prior and hasn't been marked on the calendar. i try to keep it up to date, but you know how things get!!!

this little girl is just darling. a few weeks ago we had a fun session at her home. as a natural light photographer, sometimes i really worry about doing sessions at client's homes because sometimes, well, there is no natural light. but we got lucky with baya's session. the sun was peeking in and out of clouds, but i think we made it work really beautifully! plus, any baby in rainbow legging's and a mini tutu is just adorable! am i right?

it's a new year. and i am sooooo not ready for it. but i mean, can we really ever be "ready" for a whole new year? even if i don't feel ready for it, i am super excited about it. 2010 was awesome and such great year for Heather Mann Photography. i just wanted to take a second that say thank you to all

michelle and brett's wedding was fabulous. super warm, sunny afternoon. awesome venue with a huge barn and beautiful horses. michelle and brett both were relaxed and made the day super fun. plus, michelle was another bride that went to the same highschool as i did...and junior high! i remember we used to eat lunch together in the hallway with natasha, katy, and maria. those were good times! i had such a blast at this wedding and can't wait to see these two again soon! congratulations michelle and brett!

there are christmas trees in target. and walmart. and every other store out there. it's not too early to start thinking about family pictures for christmas cards. so get out the old christmas sweaters, or go get a sparkly new outfit, and let's get something scheduled for your family.

when you schedule your session, please keep in mind that pictures take approximately 2 weeks to return. make sure to give yourself enough time to get your cards in the mail.

oh hey...check this out...another fabulous wedding at the oh so lovely rock creek gardens. seriously, krystan and kevin are one of my favorite couples ever! so beyond fun. loved the engagement session we had in spokane last january. and simply adored their wedding day. it was at the oh so beautiful rock creek gardens. her dress, hair, makeup, flowers, and decor was amazing. the bridal party was hot, hot, hot. both of their families were fabulous and so friendly. the bride and groom are both so fun to work with and made my job fantastic. and how cool is it that kevin put the garter on a football and totally launched it for the single guys. and oh yeah, there were littly tiny frogs everywhere. i mean, how cool is that? i'll tell you. it was cool. anyways. thanks so much krystan and kevin. i have loved getting to know you and can't wait to start taking photo's of your cute little babies. so start having some!!!

can i get a little mushy for a minute? i just have to say that i love love love my clients. i have, hands down, the best client's. i just feel so blessed to be doing what i am doing, and working with the people i get to work with. this family is no exception...they are totally awesome. i have gotten to know them over the last 2 years and i have a blast every time we get together! they are all so great and willing to do whatever i ask them to. which is awesome!

remember that one time when i told you my sister.in.law claire was in town? and remember she was working on hair and makeup for her portfolio? well...caitlin is another beautiful example of claire's talent for hair and makeup. i had so much fun taking these shots. you can't go wrong with a field of yellow weeds, and old tractor, and a hot model with super hot hair and makeup! i mean really.

leslie and josh's wedding was so beautiful. point defiance park was in full bloom and it was a bright sunny warm day. leslie and her family are from nashville, so that was fun to be called ma'am a lot!!! and josh and his family are more local and are all super talented. for the first dance, josh wrote leslie a beautiful song. check out more of josh's awesomeness here. no really. check him out...he's awesome. and josh's sister sang as well after the cake cutting. great great great fun! thanks again josh and leslie for everything. i wish you all the best.

i have awesome sister.in.laws. 1 of my awesome sister.in.laws, claire, was in town this past week to work on her portfolio (she just graduated from the paul mitchell acadamy). so she did our sister.in.law camila's hair (cut, color, style) and we went to work on a fun photo shoot. and we snuck in a few shots at the end with little finn! loved it all.

my cute hubby came along and shot some great shots too! he's awesome like that! (he'll probably post his shots on his blog soon.)

catherine and mike had their wedding at the beautiful tibbetts creek manor in issaquah. such a beautiful venue, complete with old red barn doors, rustic bridge, and lush green grounds. it was perfect for catherine and mike's green colors. plus, i finally got to work with kim from lilly lynn events, who is amazing at what she does! catherine's dress was awesome...it was her mom's that they converted to be a bit more modern (they ditched the huge puffy 80's sleeves!). i adore that she kept the big bow in the back though. the day was perfect, the couple was beautiful, the old vintage car was classic, the ceremony was personal, the dancing was insane, and i am so happy i got to be there to capture it all. thanks so much catherine and mike. i have loved getting to know both of you!

i completely and totally love the colors of this wedding. so vibrant and summery. plus, joe and amanda had a totally rad photo booth, and scrap booking supplies for their guest book. beautiful venue overlooking chambers bay. gorgeous day...even though it was a tad hot. thanks so much joe and amanda for a fabulous wedding to photograph!

this girl is just stunning. all i know is that i didn't look anywhere near this beautiful when i was a senior! (it didn't help that i had braces either!) plus, she is super cool and i had a blast on our session. i was able to shoot her brother's senior portraits a few years ago, and then the whole families portraits last year, then caitlin's senior portraits, and next week, the family is due for another session! i love it! such a fabulous family...with such fabulous teeth!

shel and evan are one of my favorite couples. they are so awesome and full of life. and both of their families are amazing as well! their wedding day was fantastic and full of fun, fun, fun. i took so many pictures i had no idea which ones to post. (scroll down for a link to see them all!) there was a fabulous mariachi band, running groomsen and bridesmaids, the groom was tossed in the air, delicious food, beautiful venue, cool old car, and just an all around great time. thanks so much evan and shel for asking me to be your wedding photographer. i have loved getting to know you. and feel free to fly me out to hawaii when you start having babies!!! no really though. i'm totally serious! for reals.

sarah and josh are awesome. i met them last year when i was the photographer for sarah's sister megan's wedding. that was a long sentence. anyway. we had a fun session in tacoma and i am so looking forward to their wedding in october. it will be fun to see that family again! and meet josh's family too of course.

this is one of my best friends julie and her cute family. julie and i met when both our families went skiing in Germany when we were like 5 years old. we were in the same ski school class together, and yes, i got the gold medal. then, years later, we went to the same high school and danced on the same dance team (yes, i am proud that i was on rogers dance team!), and then became roommates in college, and were in each other's weddings. i still think it is so funny that she is in our family picture albums when we were 5! crazy story. one of my favorites.
annnnnyways. back to the point. julie, matt, carter and i had a blast walking around puyallup. such a cute little family. even though carter was a little under the weather, he did awesome! thanks so much you guys. you know i love you!

and yes. this picture is a little random and slightly creepy. but at the time we thought it was hilarious!

ryan is another rogers 2000 graduate! i think i have 4 or 5 people from my graduating class that i am working with this summer. funny. anyhooo...such a great session with ryan and mandy. they are super cute together and just fun to be around. i am totally looking forward to their wedding in september. the weekend before our 10 year high school reunion. (gasp! has it really been 10 years already. i feel old.)

emily and tahj had their wedding at the beautiful golden gardens in seattle. it was on a beautiful, slightly hot, day in june. so the place was packed with people, we got some fabulous shots anyway. the ceremony was beautiful and so sweet. i cried a little. as did the bride and groom and most of the guests. and the reception was just so much fun. thanks again emily and tahj for letting me celebrate with you.

nicole and sean had a beautiful wedding at the Seattle LDS temple and then a lovely reception at titlow beach. all the details were beautiful: vintage tandem bike, awesome chandeliers, amazing cake, beautiful flowers. it was an absolute blast shooting this wedding. i have known nicole's family for years so of course it was wonderful to see them, and sean and his family were so nice. congratulations sean and nicole! i am just so super happy for both of you!

hope your 4th of july was spectacular. ours was. other than merrick who tried to eat a sparkler (don't worry, he didn't get hurt at all) and then cried the rest of the night because we didn't let him eat that sparkler!! other than that...it was magical!

jessica and i both went to the same high school...but we didn't really know each other there! but it was totally fun to see her and all the other rogers 2000 graduates that were at her wedding!
and the weather was all over the place. it was raining all day. then stopped as we started taking pictures. stopped for jessica and wade's outdoor wedding ceremony, and then started down pouring right after. we barely got inside before getting soaked! it really was perfect though! congratulations jessica and wade. thanks for letting me be a part of your day!

first of all...i love this wedding venue. i have shot on the skansonia boat in seattle a few times now and have had such fun each time. great views of seattle, and the boat doesn't move, so i don't have to worry about sea sickness and throwing up on the bride and groom. cause that could be embarrassing!
second of all...this was such a fun wedding with such a fun couple. i knew we were going to have a good time since we did their engagements at the zoo!! congratulation jamie and eric. now start having babies and call me when you do!
